Photographed in the comfort of your home, we document the softness, the tiny gestures, and the quiet awe of those first days. These aren’t posed moments - they’re honest memories of where it all began.

At-home setting with your newest arrival.
15–20 images capturing parents, siblings, and the first days together.

Includes extended family (grandparents etc.)

Our signature portrait sessions are designed to capture the quiet beauty found in every stage of life. Minimal, timeless, and crafted in black and white, these portraits become an annual tradition - a visual story of your child as they grow, year after year. Each image is created with intention and care, transforming simple moments into heirloom art that will be treasured for generations.
We also offer professional headshots and fine-art portraiture for adults - powerful, confident imagery that reflects authenticity, presence, and purpose.

Signature Session — $400
45-minute session | 10 black & white fine-art portraits
For one child only. Additional children welcome—fees apply, please contact for details.

FAQ
1. Where is your studio?
Our studio is located in our home in Deloraine. Once we have confirmed your booking we will send through all the location details.
2. How do I book?
For all sessions we recommend filling out our ‘Contact Form’ with your personal details, what type of shoot you are after, and a rough timeline of when you would like the photos taken. We will get back to you with our availability and get the ball rolling! All our clients receive a phone consult with us to discuss finer details and any questions you may have.
3. Do you offer payment options?
All our packages require a 20% deposit to confirm your booking. After that we are flexible with payment options and can organise for you to pay in installments if you wish. All bookings are required to be paid in full 2 weeks out from the shoot date. More information is provided when booking your shoot through our questionnaire and contract terms.
4. Do you travel outside of Tasmania?
We are available for shoots all across Tasmania and the world! Please contact us for travel fees and more information.
5. What happens in a studio portrait session?
We love to keep our studio sessions really fun and natural. When you and your child arrive we will get comfortable and introduce them to the studio space. There is no pressure to pose or perform- just let their personality bloom! Prior to your session we will send you a questionnaire to fill out so we can get to know your child and their interests. We can also cater for any special needs they may have. Any questions you have please reach out!
6. What if my child misbehaves?
As parents of a 1.5 year old with a big personality- we get it! We are flexible with the timings of our studio sessions so if we need to have a break or take a little longer this does not bother us. Alternatively if you wish to come back another time we can organise this as well, noting that additional fees may apply.
7. Do you have working with vulnerable people checks?
Shaun and Adela both hold a valid ‘Registration to Work with Vulnerable People’ issued in Tasmania. Rest assured we highly value the safety of our clients.
8. How do I receive my photos?
All clients receive a private online gallery to view their images. They can be downloaded to your phone or computer at high resolution (we highly recommend this!). These are password protected and private, with the option for you to share with whoever you wish.
9. What if the weather is bad?
If your shoot is organised outdoors and the weather delivers us a wet, miserable day - never fear we can reschedule (unless its a wedding)! If you wish to persevere in the weather we can make the most of it and have back up options for you as well. For our wedding clients we will discuss wet weather backups and options so we are prepared for anything on the day!
10. Do you offer discounts?
If you have a particular budget to meet please contact us to discuss more. We believe everyone should be able to access timeless images throughout their life and are happy to work with your budget. We may offer specials from time to time, however we do offer returning clients 20% off their packages for coming back to use us!
